Most valuable reference guide for yoga instructors

I am a yoga instructor and I look at this almost every day: for inspiration, for deeper understanding. Darren Rhodes has put so much effort into this volume, and has truly made a great contribution to the library of knowledge available to yogis. He succinctly and precisely describes how to practice each and every pose with accurate shape, safety and refinement. Teachers from any style of yoga can use this manual and students will find it useful as well. Highly recommended.

Fantastic class planning tool

I use this manual every week. I have a Kindle app on my Mac and when I sit down to create my yoga class sequences I open this manual at the same time on my computer. I get great ideas from the photos of each category of poses; i.e., standing poses, and then specific sequencing ideas for preparatory poses by reading Darren's explanation of the apex pose I intend to use. The videos for some of the poses are an added bonus. My classes are so much stronger and helpful because of this manual. Of course, I also have it downloaded on my Kindle Fire and consult it regarding my own practice. Great resource!

As readers, we feel the shock and anger when the doctors tell the family that Shaina is not going to live. We feel the tension between Ms. Lightle and her brother’s family. We get to know Shaina up close and personal, including how she learned to march to the beat of her own drum, despite being bullied at school.

Ms. Lightle wants us to know that Shaina had more than one purpose but that maybe her most important one was to fill her family’s heart with enough love in thirteen short years to last them a lifetime, and that in Ms. Lightle’s heart she was and will forever be her “Shaina Bug”.

Your sunshine is your Angel!

I came across this book by accident and I cannot thank you enough for writing it. It was such an inspiration to me and I believe I was meant to read it. There were so many messages and words expressed that you shared that you will never know the depth that they helped me! People say there is a reason for things happening and after reading this book; I could not agree more. Anyone suffering from a loss should read this story.

I can't imagine losing a child like this. No one wants to go through something like this but she did it with dignity and grace.

Please Don't Take My Sunshine Away: A Story by Lugenia Lynn Lightle

I cried nonstop for Shania "Buggie".my heart aches as if she was one of my daughter's. My Mother lost 2 son's&one of their photos is attached to her headboard even though he passed in 1984. Time changes yet the grief remains.
