4-Stars with Reservations

I read all 4 of the books in this series. To a certain degree, it is the typical girl meets boy (or in this case vampire, shapeshifter, demon), etc., but the plots do have some interesting twists and turns. My biggest problem, and the reason for the 'reservations' in this review is the numerous editing errors. Not only are there wrong words and sentences repeated in the same paragraph, but at one point there was absolutely no continuation of the story from the last paragraph on one page to the first paragraph on the next.
If I had purchased these books in hard cover, I would have marked them up and sent them back to the author. Your writing is enjoyable, but please invest in a GOOD PROOFREADER. Nothing is a bigger turn-off than having to re-read a sentence, paragraph or page because it doesn't make sense.

Just Had To Buy The Box Set

I have only read the first book, since I have a Kindle I was able to read it for free from the library. I usually read only at lunch time at work, but with this book, I couldn't wait to finish washing the dinner dishes so I could sit in my bed and read this book. I finished it a few days ago and just had to buy the whole set. Price wise (and I do have to watch my bucks) it was the better deal. I know I will read this series over and over. I didn't think I would like this story after reading Harry Potter and Temeraire by Naomi Novik, but this book held my attention through the whole book. Can't wait to read the others.

Good buy for 0.99 cents! Even though I don't like all stories, they are all entertaining and this is a pretty good buy for 0.99 cents. I could not pass on it. It was a good couple hours of reading. The stories are all connected. Some stories even have stories within them. Some hero's piss me off than others, but then others I loved! Would recommend this series. Great suspense, action, writing, dialogue, sexual scenes and ending. Great paranormal series with a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Safe read. No OW or OM. My favorite is the third book in the series, I would have paid the 0.99 just for that one. Luckily for me I got everything in a package deal!
