Comical romance. Could be better though.

I liked that the story was entertaining and amusing. However, I didn't feel that the author built up the relationship between Ryan and Rachel enough. It wasn't very believable that after three years of seeing Ryan as a bossy, snobbish, geek she suddenly finds him attractive and in love with him. Her friend, Susan, and her crazy antics was a nice addition to the story. The ending wasn't romantic either. After all the hurtful things he said to her, he tells her he loves her and all is good!?!? I didn't love the story but didn't hate it either. Since it was short and free, it was worth reading.

A nice read

It was a nice read, though I wasn't all that impressed by this book.
I liked mostly George - I think I could have fallen in love with him if I were 20 years older. A really good guy and very sweet and caring, even with all his faults and flaws.
I liked Rachel on and off. She was stubborn and proud and that was booth a good and a bad thing. Same for Ryan. I wanted to punch him sometimes for not really listening to Rachel or trying to understand her more.
I liked Susan and especially I liked her friendship with Rachel. So sweet!
Ty seemed a nice guy too.
Molly was a hateful b*tch.
The story was kind of good but the ending seemed a little rushed and I couldn't help being kind of disappointed.

I Had My Doubts, But...

I wavered on downloading this book, but it was free, so I went ahead and got it. I agree with another reviewer that the buildup of the relationship could've been handled a little better. I do, however, also believe the book deserves a higher rating than three stars.
As a Christian, I do have issues with Susan, who's trying desperately to lose her virginity before she's 30 (and if she's that desperate to lose it, I feel certain there are plenty of men out there who'd be happy to help). However, that part of the story is kind of integral to the whole plot.
I wouldn't recommend this book to everyone, but for a quick, cute read, yeah, it fits the bill.
